Lori and Claire Christofferson Endowed Scholarship in Nursing

Mr. Christofferson wishes to honor his wife, Lori, and his daughter, Claire, who demonstrate compassion for others through their commitment to the nursing profession as a neonatal nurse and general surgery nurse, respectively. After attending Claire s graduation ceremony in May 2015, Mr. Christofferson felt compelled to support the nursing program that provided such a strong educational foundation in his daughter s future career as a nurse. He would like to extend the educational opportunity for students at the Orvis School of Nursing who emulate the same passion and care that his wife and daughter dedicate to others. Recipients shall be full-time students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in nursing and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to receive and retain the award.
