Linda Rose Beaver Endowed Scholarship in Art

The Beaver family, Ed Beaver and children Lisa Cronin, Joanne Johnson, Michelle Beaver and Sandra Beaver, established this scholarship in memory of Linda Rose (Malamas) Beaver. Linda passed away in 2017 after a brave five-year battle with cancer. It was her wish that an endowment scholarship fund would be set up to assist an art student who shares her passion for making the world a more beautiful place. Recipients shall be Nevada residents pursuing an undergraduate degree in art with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Recipients shall be of at least sophomore standing with preference given to single parents.
