Doubrava Family Medical Endowed Scholarship

The Doubrava Scholarship was originally established in 1991 by Sterling Max Doubrava, Jr. M.D. and Joan Doubrava. A substantial gift from Kathryn L. and Sterling Max Doubrava, Sr. came in 1998 and this gift was in honor of their grandson, Mark W. Doubrava, M.D., a 1989 graduate of the University of Nevada School of Medicine. The Doubrava Family s commitment to medical education at Nevada has supported students based on merit and financial need. Recipients shall be students in good standing in the M.D. program at the School of Medicine.
