Eugene J. Isaeff Memorial Music Scholarship

At age 12, Eugene J. Isaeff 61 (mathematics), 67 M.A. (music) became interested in playing the trombone, an interest that would turn into a lifelong passion. This scholarship was established by Gene s son, Bill, to honor his 75-year musical legacy. His hope is that this scholarship will inspire other students to pursue their love for music. Recipients shall be full-time students pursuing a bachelor s or master s in jazz and improvisational studies, or a bachelor s or master s in applied performance (jazz). Undergraduate recipients shall have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 to receive and retain the award; and graduate recipients shall have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to receive and retain the award.
