James P. and Norma Annett Costa Family Endowed Scholarship

The James P. and Norma Annett Costa Family Scholarship is established, in conjunction with the Norma Annett Costa Library Endowment, by their sons and families, Peter, Inge and Carson Costa, and Paul and Julie Costa, to honor their parents wishes to have a scholarship for graduates of Yerington, Smith Valley and Fernley High Schools. 2. Preference shall be given in the following order: (1) to a student who graduated from Smith Valley High School, Yerington High School and/or Fernley High School in Lyon County, State of Nevada; and (2) to a student who graduated from a high school in Lyon County, State of Nevada and to students who demonstrate financial need. 4. Recipients pursuing an undergraduate degree shall have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75, and recipients pursuing a graduate degree shall have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to receive and retain the award.
