Greg and Carolyn Ferraro Journalism Endowed Scholarship

Greg Ferraro 85 is a fourth generation Nevadan and a third-generation graduate of the University of Nevada. In 2018, he was awarded the distinguished alumnus award by the RSJ, and in 2014, the Board of Regents of the Nevada System of Higher Education conferred upon him the citation of Distinguished Nevadan. Carolyn and Greg were married in 1990 and have three grown children. They live in Reno and enjoy spending time at their vacation home at Lake Tahoe. Greg and Carolyn have established this scholarship to support full and part-time students pursuing an undergraduate degree on the strategic communication track with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Recipients shall be Nevada residents and graduates of a Nevada high school.
