Zachary R. Brounstein Endowed Scholarship

Zachary R. Brounstein 16 (mathematics & chemical engineering) was actively engaged in student clubs, Greek life, and ASUN serving as a Senator and a NSURJ Senior Editor and was presented with the Outstanding Senior Award upon graduating. He credits his academic and social pursuits and civic engagement as a student with shaping who he is in his career and in life. In gratitude for these experiences, he has decided to support students whose academic pursuits include at least two majors in distinct colleges and whose social pursuits include being involved in campus culture as he believes this best lays the foundation for students building a diverse set of tools and skills to help themselves, their community, and the world at large. Recipients shall have completed at least 30 credit hours, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be pursing at least two undergraduate degrees in distinct colleges, with preference for one in the College of Science. Recipients shall be active in campus culture by participating in student-led clubs, student government, or other campus organizations.
