James Tenney Memorial Music Scholarship
James Tenney s profession was medicine but his passion was music. His wife, Elizabeth, has created this fund in memory of her husband of 52 years, to honor and recognize his lifelong love of music. Elizabeth hopes that Jim s love for music will inspire the recipients to pursue their passion for music, and that the support from this fund will provide the means to complete their degrees. Recipients shall be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree and studying a musical instrument in the Department of Music with a preference for students studying the cello or piano as a primary instrument.
