Nevada Public Health Foundation Endowed Scholarship for Social Work

The Nevada Public Health Foundation is dedicated to building a healthy future for Nevada. The purpose of this endowment is to partner with the School of Social Work at the University of Nevada, Reno to prepare a stronger social work workforce through education. Recipients shall be full-time or part-time students who graduated from a Nevada high school and are now pursuing an undergraduate degree in social work at the University of Nevada, Reno. Recipients shall be in their junior or senior year and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 GPA. Recipient must meet one of the following criteria: a) First preference for recipients who are driven to become a leader in social work, whether the student does or does not demonstrate financial need, b) Second preference for recipients with demonstrated financial need.
