George Prassinos & Thurman Fogarty Endowed Scholarship for Veterans & First Responders

The family of George Prassinos & Thurman Fogarty established this scholarship to honor their family members who they deem true American heroes- both having lived lives of service including in the US military. Recipients shall be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at the University of Nevada, Reno in business or any science-related discipline. Recipients shall be full-time or part-time students and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Recipients shall be a veteran of the U.S. armed services or a first responder (law enforcement, fire fighter, EMT/paramedic).
