Margery McKnight Carr Endowed Scholarship

Margery McKnight Carr 51 (geology) 64MA (school administration) is a retired principal after 34 years with the Washoe County School District. Margery s interests and investment in the Mackay School of Mines and Earth Sciences and Engineering continues with her establishment of this scholarship. Recipients shall be full-time students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in MSMESE and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. Preference shall be given to female students who demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
