Linda Lee (Digesti) Charlebois Endowed Scholarship in Nursing

Linda was born in 1951, at Saint Mary s Hospital in Reno. Over her career Linda worked in many areas of the hospital. Beginning as a Staff RN in 1973, she moved up to Head Nurse in the Medical/Surgery unit, and later in the Neurology unit. In the late 1990s Linda moved into the Risk Management department. In 1999, she completed a Healthcare Risk Management Certificate Program from The Chicago Medical School, and subsequently became the Director of Risk Management. Over the years, Linda touched and enriched the lives of countless people, both at work and in her private life. She passed away in September of 2014 at St Mary s Hospital, where she had spent so much of her life. This scholarship is established in honor of Linda. Recipients shall be Nevada residents pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Nursing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to receive and retain the award.
