Robert L. Kane Family Endowed Scholarship
In honor of their parents, Daniel Kane ’86 (business administration) and Laurie (Kane) Goldey ’87 (electrical engineering) established this endowment to support students in the College of Engineering. Daniel is a cybersecurity professional, and Laurie is a principal engineer working in the aerospace industry. Both earned scholarships while attending the University and look forward to supporting students. Recipients shall be full-time students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Engineering with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to receive and retain the award. Preference shall be given to: 1) female students who graduated from high school in Elko county (Nevada), 2) female students who graduated from a high school in rural counties in Nevada (defined as any county except Washoe and Clark counties), and 3) female students who graduated from high school in any geographic area in Nevada.
