Tyrus W. Cobb International Affairs Endowed Scholarship
Tyrus W. Cobb 62 (political science) served as a West Point professor, a U.S. Army colonel, was appointed to the European and Soviet Affairs Directorate and as a Special Assistant to the President under President Reagan, and founded the National Security Forum. Established by forum members in Cobb s honor, this scholarship supports students studying international affairs. Recipients shall be pursuing an undergraduate degree in International Affairs from the Department of Political Science at the University of Nevada, Reno with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to receive and retain the award. Preference shall be given to students who are also pursuing a minor in cybersecurity.
