John Trimingham University Endowed Scholarship

John Trimingham 80 (geography Mackay School of Mines). After graduation, he had careers in telecommunications, environmental science and higher education. He retired in 2005 and now resides in San Leandro, California. He established this scholarship for students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at the University of Nevada, Reno. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA to receive and retain the award. Recipients may be either full-time or part-time students. Preference shall be given to students who have demonstrated experience in or a commitment to working with American Indian communities within the State of Nevada.
