Upward Bound Endowed Scholarship

Debbie Leonard, president of Leonard Law, PC, established this scholarship to show her gratitude for the opportunities she has been given and support first-generation, income-qualified students who graduated from Nevada high schools as part of the Upward Bound program. Leonard worked as a biologist and science teacher before becoming a lawyer and founding her own firm in 2019. Recipients shall be full-time or part-time students pursuing an undergraduate degree at the University of Nevada, Reno and must be participating in the Upward Bound or Upward Bound Math Science programs.
