Pattie A. Atkinson Art Endowed Scholarship

Pattie Atkinson has been an artist all her life and moved to Reno where her husband Glen taught economics at the University. Pattie was a homemaker and continued to take art classes and taught classes. Pattie knows through personal experience how expensive it can be to create beautiful art pieces, that is why Pattie and Glen have decided to provide an art scholarship endowment. This scholarship is designed to help University art students realize their dreams of making a more beautiful world. Recipients shall be full-time or part-time students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree majoring in art with an area of emphasis in painting in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Nevada, Reno.
