Mati & Tom Stephens Endowed Scholarship

Mati and Tom Stephens are long-time residents of the Reno area, having been married in Reno in 1978. Tom attended Reno High and the University of Nevada, Reno, earning a bachelor s of science in civil engineering. Both Mati and Tom are retired from the Nevada Air National Guard, each with more than 20 years of service. They established this scholarship for undergraduate students pursuing a degree in civil engineering in the College of Engineering. Recipients shall be of junior or senior standing, and have graduated from a Nevada high school.
