LaVerne Mildred Weir Memorial Endowed Scholarship

In honor of the late LaVerne Mildred Weir ’29 (arts & science), an anonymous donor established this scholarship through a bequest to help students pursuing a career in elementary education. An Honor Court Gold Benefactor, Weir taught elementary school for 30 years, mostly in Sparks, Nev., before retiring in 1959.
