Edward C. Ralston Graduate Student Endowed Scholarship in Geology

Edward C. Ralston 84 MS (geology) found his love for the outdoors and exploration at a young age. This passion was solidified as he moved into middle school, high school and eventually college. By happenstance, he ended up pursuing his master s degree in geology at The Mackay School of Mines. The positive experience he had at the University coupled with his love of geology led him to establish the Edward C. Ralston Graduate Student Scholarship in Geology Endowment, in hopes of supporting graduate students with a passion for geology and the outdoors. Recipients must be full-time students pursuing a graduate degree in the Department of Geological Sciences and Engineering in the College of Science. Preference should be given to students with an emphasis on field-based geology in their studies.
