Rota Rosaschi Endowed Scholarship
Rota Rosaschi 75 (social services and corrections), 91 MPA knew her life s purpose was to help people. Using both her degrees, Rosaschi enriched and bettered the lives of Nevadans throughout her years of service at the State of Nevada s Welfare Division. Retiring from the State of Nevada in 2003, Rosaschi continued to serve Nevada through the Nevada Public Health Foundation and by serving as the chair for both the School of Social Work and the School of Public Health s Advisory Board at the University. In 2023, Rosaschi was awarded the Lifetime Achievement award by the University s School of Social Work. To honor Rota Rosaschi and her commitment to the community, the Nevada Public Health Foundation established this endowed scholarship. Recipients must be pursuing a degree in social work and must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
