Dr. Ann Ronald Western American Literature Endowed Scholarship

The Dr. Ann Ronald Western American Literature Scholarship Endowment Fund was established by Ann Morgan to support students pursuing a degree in the College of Liberal Arts. Morgan graduated from the University in 1975 with a bachelor s degree in English, and currently serves as the Chair of the Foundation. She established this fund to honor English Professor Emerita and mentor, Ann Ronald. Morgan recalls Ronald as an instructor who supported and celebrated her study of English Literature. Professor Ronald taught in the English department and her writing was centered on the American West and issues of natural resources. Ronald received the University s Outstanding Researcher award in 2005 and was an inductee into the Nevada Writer s Hall of Fame in 2006.
