Maureen A. Brower Journalism Endowed Scholarship

In March 2023, the Reynolds School of Journalism received a notice from the trustee of the Maureen A. Bower Living Trust stating the remainder of the trust shall be distributed outright, in equal shares, to the Reynolds School. Foundation Staff and then-Dean of the RSJ decided to establish this quasi-endowment to fulfill the wishes of the trustees. Available earnings from the quasi-endowment will be used to support students with a preference for those with financial need pursuing a degree in the Reynolds School.
