John Nemes Endowed Scholarship

The John Nemes Educational Support Endowment was established by Jean Williams to honor John Nemes, a former professor in Sierra Nevada University s teacher education program who passed away in 2016. This scholarship aims to benefit students pursuing an elementary education degree or license at the University. Preference will be given to students in need of financial assistance that are from Lake Tahoe or plan to continue to live there.
