Chad Osorno Scholarship

After a 35-year banking and finance career, Chad A. Osorno retired from Wells Fargo & Company in 2019, at which time they established this scholarship on honor of his career. Recipients shall be full-time first-generation students pursuing an undergraduate degree in finance in The College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno. Preference for recipients with demonstrated financial need and preference should be given to students with a demonstrated commitment to promoting the advancement of women in the financial services professions. Additionally, the donor desires that when awarding this scholarship, special consideration be given to students who have demonstrated experience in or a commitment to working with the Hispanic communities or other communities of color.
