Shonnard Family Science Endowed Scholarship for Students from Rural Nevada Counties

In recognition for her parents commitment to, and friendships in, the rural communities of Nevada, Ann Carpenter and Thomas Carpenter 83 (geophysics) established the Shonnard Family Science Scholarship Endowment for Students from Rural Nevada. Recipients shall be students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Science who have graduated from high schools from rural areas of Nevada. Rural Nevada is defined as all areas outside of the immediate Reno-Sparks and Las Vegas metropolitan areas.
