Sol, Ella and Ronald Savitt Scholarship Endowment

In 1976 with a gift from Ronald Savitt and Sol and Ella M. Savitt, who went on to receive Honorary Degrees from the University in 1978, this fund was established. Recipients shall be freshmen students who graduated from a Nevada high school with preference given to students from rural areas of the state.
