John Louis and Louise Ferretti Semenza Scholarship Endowment in Business and Social Work

This fund was originally established in 1946 with a gift from Louise Semenza John Louis Semenza was an immigrant from Italy who crossed the Bering Strait before settling in Reno where he married his wife Louise Ferretti. All six of John and Louise’s children would go on to graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno. Recipients shall be in good standing and pursuing a degree in business or social work.
