Bean Space Foundation Annual Scholarship

Richard “Rick” Bean earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 2019 from the University of Nevada, Reno College of Engineering. During his career, he worked for USMC, IBM, Andersen Consulting and Accenture. He is married to Beth Bean and they were inspired by a full scholarship Rick received over 50 years ago. To that end, the Bean Space Foundation seeks to offer four-year, undergraduate, engineering scholarships, for students pursuing civil and electrical engineering degrees for the study of electromagnetic wave technology and the applications within the selected engineering degree.
