Edna Blanche Nursing Scholarship

This is a combination name in honor of the anonymous donor s grandmother and husband’s grandmother. One woman was a strong believer in education and spent most of her days educating her family and teaching them education is the key to opening minds and resources. The other woman had a strong belief in helping those who were less fortunate than others and one should pay forward kind deeds but without claim to the deeds. Recipients shall be full-time or part-time students pursuing a graduate degree in Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice in the Orvis School of Nursing at the University of Nevada, Reno. Preference for recipients who are part-time students with demonstrated financial need.
