Serve Nevada Class of 1964 Scholarship
The Serve Nevada Class of 1964 Scholarship was established by Muree Reafs to support students interested in public health nursing. Reafs is an Orvis graduate from the Class of 1964. Her career took her to Virginia, Honduras, Peru and California, but her time in Nevada stands out as especially meaningful. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and pursuing a graduate degree or a doctor of nursing practice in the Orris School of Nursing at the University. Preference shall be given to students from a rural county or interested in working in a rural county after graduation. If at some time in the future, a Master of Public Health Nursing or a dual MSN-MPH program is created, this scholarship shall support students in those programs.
