Barbara D. Parish Recovery Nursing Scholarship

Barbara Parish 69 94 was part of the Nevada Recovery and Prevention Network and during her career as a nurse, she worked with many individuals fighting addiction. Through this scholarship, Barbara hopes to increase awareness of addiction and recovery in the nursing profession. Recipients shall be pre-nursing students pursuing a bachelor of science in public health in the School of Public Health with a preference given to recipients pursuing a minor in Addiction Treatment Service. If there are insufficient eligible candidates to utilize the available funding, scholarships may be awarded to recipients pursuing an undergraduate degree in the School of Public Health.
