Mike Marley Scholarship

The Mike Marley Scholarship was established to financially support students at the Reynolds School of Journalism by Frank A. Dell Apa on behalf of donors to honor Marley s life and legacy. Michael L. Marley 86 (journalism), was an award-winning journalist who started his career at the University of Nevada, Reno as a sportswriter and branched out into broadcasting winning several Emmy awards as a producer for Howard Cosell s “SportsBeat.” Recipients of this scholarship shall be pursuing an undergraduate degree in the Donald W. Reynolds School of Journalism with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Preference will be given to students with career interests in sports and media.
