Elizabeth Ann and Rick M. Gardner Graduate Psychology Scholarship

Fund History and Purpose Dr. Rick Gardner hails from Fresno, California and he received his B.A. from Humboldt State University in California in psychology and his and master s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1968. He went on to earn his Ph.D. degree in psychology at the University of Nevada, Reno in 1969. While studying at Nevada, he met his wife, Elizabeth Miller, who was pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology; she graduated in 1971. As students they received financial support which they are extremely grateful for. Dr. and Mrs. Gardner have created this scholarship to provide financial support to psychology graduate students at Nevada.
