Kurek Family Scholarship

Kevin Kurek 14 (biology), 16 M.S. (finance) attended grade schools in Carson City before attending the University. Kurek bleeds Silver and Blue and is grateful to be able to help other students pursue similar dreams in data science and machine learning engineering. Recipients shall be pursuing a degree within the Department of Mathematics & Statistics in the College of Science. Preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need, undergraduate students majoring in mathematics with a statistics specialization and minoring in computer science and engineering, graduate students in the Mathematics & Statistics Department s statistics and data science programs, any student majoring in mathematics & statistics or undergraduate students majoring in computer science.
