Evelyn B. Thurston Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Music Education

Gerda Hemenway taught music in public schools in northern Nevada and established this scholarship in 1987 to support future music teachers. Recipients will be full-time students seeking a degree in music education with a 3.0 GPA. Undergraduate recipients will be graduates of a northern Nevada high school while graduate recipients will be teaching in northern Nevada.
