Spina Family Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1984 in memory of Adrienne “Binkie” Spina, and Nancy Spina. Adrienne was a bright and energetic young woman who was studying public relations at RSJ when she was tragically killed in an automobile accident. Her Mother, Nancy was a fourth generation Nevadan who enjoyed a long, successful career as a librarian with the Washoe County Library System and the Reno Gazette Journal. Recipients will be full-time, undergraduate students, pursuing a journalism major with emphasis in strategic communications with a 3.0 GPA.
