Dean Sam Basta Endowed Scholarship

Sam Basta ’38 (history) attended the University on a football scholarship. After graduating, he served as Dean of Students, Dean of Men, and Dean of Community Relations at the University. His family established this scholarship in 1991 to benefit juniors majoring in education or counseling. Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need.
