Walter & Vivian Cox Scholarship

Established in 1992 in honor of Walter Cox and Vivian Cox. Walter was a lifelong Nevada journalist who authored a much respected newspaper column. He was involved with Nevada’s political scene for more than 60 years. Recipients will be full-time students with junior or senior standing, exhibiting financial need and pursuing a journalism major with a 2.75 GPA.
