Jay S. Dow Sr. Memorial Scholarship

In memory of Jay S. Dow who spearheaded the development of the Jay Dow Sr. Wetlands on Honey Island in Lassen County, California. Today these wetlands are an entity of the University of Nevada, Reno dedicated to the conservation of aquatic birds. Recipients shall be graduate students in CABNR with first preference for those conducting research involving the biology of aquatic birds and a second preference for those undertaking research projects involving the conservation of wetlands.
