Clarence & Martha Jones Foundation Endowed Scholarship

In 1995, the University of Nevada, Reno Foundation Board of Trustees unanimously approved the creation of the Clarence and Martha Jones Foundation Scholarship Endowment, naming the fund in honor of Clarence Jones, a former trustee, and his wife, Martha. The couple’s philanthropic efforts in the community touched virtually every area on campus. Clarence passed away in January 1995 and Martha passed away in February of 2012.Recipients shall be pursuing an undergraduate degree at the University of Nevada, Reno, be of junior or senior standing, maintain a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
