Jim Gilbert Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Gilbert Family has a long history in Nevada, dating back to the mid-19th century. Jim Gilbert was a member of the Nevada ski team majoring in electrical engineering when he was killed in an automobile accident in 1956. In his honor, this scholarship was established in 1997. Recipients will have achieved junior class standing with a 3.0 GPA in their major course of study.
