Colonel & Mrs. John M. Etchemendy Endowed Scholarship

Colonel John M. Etchemendy ’39 (engineering, physical education), a Gardnerville native, served as a combat fighter pilot during WWII and the Korean conflict. This scholarship established in 1996 in his name is intended to benefit full-time students enrolled in the ROTC program with a 2.5 GPA.
