Leon & Edith Hartman Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Leon Wilson Hartman was president of the University of Nevada from 1938 until 1943. Edith Hartman was active in university and community affairs and was effective in sharing Leon’s role as a department head and later as president. It is fitting that she share designation with her husband on the Leon W. and Edith K. Hartman Scholarship Fund. Recipients shall be undergraduate students who major in any University of Nevada, Reno degree program and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be considered for this award.
