Gene McKenna Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1996 in honor of Gene McKenna ‘50, who built one of the area’s most successful ad agencies, Doyle McKenna Advertising. During his 40-year career, McKenna helped many journalism students get their careers off the ground through internships and employment opportunities. Recipients of this award will be full-time students, pursuing a journalism major in advertising or public relations with a 3.0 GPA.
